The "TAZI" model from HORLACHER is the prototype for a new and particularly energy-efficient vehicle concept.
"TAZI" has been conceived for the public transport of persons and goods over large areas of open ground, and travels at walking pace only (8 - 12 km/h).
HORLACHER set itself the objective in this project of providing the largest possible amount of useful space in a small area.
The vehicle is characterized by its considerable transport capacity: up to 40 persons can be transported at the same time in the maximum number of cabins (seven).
A further outstanding characteristic of the concept is the manoeuvrability of this multiple-unit train and the absolute tracking stability of the individual trailers behind the towing cabin unit, which allows even narrow passages to be negotiated without problem.
The TAZI has a turning circle of 8 meters.
